The Role

The role of Hygiene Operative is fundamental to our mission of maintaining a world‑class manufacturing facility, supporting a clean, contamination‑free work environment. By executing hygiene protocols, championing contamination prevention measures, and upholding the highest standards, you play a vital role in shaping the very essence of SiS. Your contributions as Hygiene Operative are not only integral to our operations, but also support our informed sport certification and maintain audit compliance.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: 35.1 hours per week, 10 hour days, 4 on 4 off shift basis, 6.00am - 4.00pm
Hourly Pay: £13.45 per hour

The Work - Your 4 most important responsibilities:
- Execute and monitor sanitisation protocols in line with set timescales, to ensure all equipment and surfaces meet and exceed hygiene standards, in line with Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions.
- Being proactive in identifying problems and solutions to maintain a high standard of hygiene across the business, working with various teams.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of hygiene activities, contributing to the traceability and transparency of our processes.
- Adhering to Health & Safety and Quality requirements to ensure a safe working environment.
Accountability – what you are responsible for delivering:
- Maintaining hygiene standards to the highest level and ensuring Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and work instructions (WI) are followed correctly, within the appropriate timescales.
- Documentation and records completed accurately, in line with processes, SOPs and WI.
- Ensuring strict adherence to industry standards and regulations, to support audit compliance.
- Being proactive in identifying problems and solutions.
- Complying with Health & Safety and Quality requirements, to support a safe and contamination‑free work environment.
