The purpose of this role is to contribute to the world-class manufacturing facility by ensuring production runs efficiently, including the safety of the team, the quality of our brands, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Contract: Permanent
Hourly rate: £24.08 - £25.29 per hour
Working Hours: Shift pattern - Days (2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off) 40.5 hours per week

Your 4 most important responsibilities:
- Carry out preventative maintenance diligently, in line with advised timeframes and procedures.
- Timely response to equipment breakdowns with effective resolutions using root-cause principles.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strictly adhere to health, safety, food safety, and environmental policies.
Accountability – what you are responsible for delivering:
- Consistent use of computerised maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Personal responsibility for issuing spare parts for work completed.
- Oversee contractors, ensuring compliance with work permits and site protocols.
- Support the development of production personnel in improving efficiency.
- Adherence to purchasing protocols.
- Maintain workshop and toolbox standards.

- Proficiency in mechanical and electrical engineering principles.

- Performance will be discussed in 1-2-1s with the Senior Engineering Lead.
- Weekly distribution of department KPI’s.
- No downtime, quality, or safety issues occur as a result of any work completed.
- Spares stock is maintained.
- Internal audits demonstrate department compliance.
