We are seeking an energetic, commercially minded Junior National Account Manager to support the delivery of sales growth across key national retail accounts. Proven experience as a National Account Executive or Commercial Executive is required, or you may already be operating as a Junior National Account Manager.
As part of our UK Retail sales team, you will work closely with senior commercial managers to execute customer plans, deliver revenue targets, analyse performance, and strengthen retailer relationships in a fast-paced, high-growth category.

The Work - Your 4 Most Important Responsibilities
- Account management – Develop and maintain relationships with key Grocery accounts maximising sales and ensuring satisfaction.
- Sales plan execution – Support the Senior National Account Manager in delivering a comprehensive strategy for the Grocery channel aligned to overall company objectives.
- Cross-functional collaboration – Collaborate effectively with key internal stakeholders across multiple functions in order to deliver on the business objectives and KPIs.
- New Business – Demonstrate ability to identify new business prospects, navigate gatekeepers and successfully convert leads into new active accounts.
Accountability – What You Are Responsible For Delivering
- Support the management of day-to-day relationships with national accounts, ensuring timely responses and strong customer service.
- Assist in delivering annual sales, margin, and distribution targets for the Grocery channel.
- Support SNAM in preparing for customer meetings, category range reviews and product presentations.
- Support the execution of Grocery channel promotional plans, including maintaining internal trackers, nominations to customers, input into customer portals and approvals of retrospective claims.
- Maintenance of customer EPOS trackers.
- Administration of customer new line forms.
- Ongoing management of accurate customer product data, including any data changes or SKU changes, and maintenance of central master data file.
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and potential threats.
- Collaborate on trade marketing activations and execution.
- Regular undertaking of store visits.
- Attend customer meetings, trade shows, brand or retail events, as required.

- BA degree in business management, marketing or a related field is desirable.
- Understanding of Grocery systems and supplier portals.
- Understanding of retail landscapes, category management, and basic P&L principles.
- Ability to build rapport with buyers, internal teams, and external partners.
- Collaboration within the UK Retail team and cross-functionally.
- Understands how decisions impact revenue, margin, and market share.
- Clear communication skills with confidence to present.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.

Attributes – experience and mindset that will enable you to do well in this role
- Experience – Demonstrable experience as a National Account Executive or in a junior sales role.
- Experience working in sports nutrition, health & wellness brands and/or FMCG business.
- Experience working with UK Grocery accounts is desirable.
- Experience with sales data tools (IRI/Nielsen/Circana) is beneficial but not essential.
