Job Description: Business Development Director (TIC) Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving growth, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding our footprint in key Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) markets. This role requires a visionary leader with strong commercial acumen and an ability to foster relationships that deliver long-term value. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Growth: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the company’s goals and market opportunities. Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and potential acquisitions, to drive revenue growth. Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business. Revenue Targets: Achieve or exceed annual sales and revenue targets through effective pipeline management and strategic planning. Industry Expertise: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and risks. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and finance, to align business development efforts with overall company objectives. Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of business development professionals to achieve their potential and contribute to company success. Qualifications: Proven track record in business development, sales, or a similar leadership role, in the TIC (Testing, Inspection, Certification) industry. Direct P&L Management (€60M+) Strong understanding of market dynamics, client needs, and competitive landscapes. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful business strategies. Experience in managing complex sales cycles and long-term client relationships. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus. Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and partners.
