Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central – Presales Consultant

Type: Full-Time

Overview

Sci-Net Ltd is seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Presales Consultant to support our growing sales team in delivering tailored ERP solutions to customers across Retail, Trade, and Distribution. This role is ideal for someone with strong functional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, excellent communication skills, and a consultative approach to understanding customer needs and building trust.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of functional and solution-focused engagement in new ERP sales opportunities.
• Lead discovery sessions with prospects to understand pain points, requirements, and desired outcomes.
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations and workshops, tailored to vertical use cases (e.g. ERP>Retail, ERP>Trade).
• Translate business needs into system capabilities using Business Central, Power Platform, and integrated tools.
• Collaborate with the Commercial and Delivery teams to shape solutions, scope estimates, and commercial proposals.
• Assist in preparing responses to RFPs and writing tailored SOWs for prospects.
• Support pipeline development with thought leadership, webinars, and vertical case studies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Microsoft licensing (SaaS vs On-Prem, NCE), new features, and ISV landscape.

What We\’re Looking For

• Proven experience in ERP presales, consultancy, or sales engineering.
• Strong functional understanding of Business Central modules: Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Warehousing.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
• A consultative, solution-first mindset – able to engage at both operational and board levels.
• Commercial awareness – able to shape scope and pricing appropriately.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-driven sales environment.
