We are looking for an experienced Application Engineer - Protection to join our team in Reading and play a key role in supporting customers and advancing technical excellence.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop deep expertise in power systems, your focus area, and SEL products.
- Support customers through technical visits, demonstrations, training, and remote support.
- Solve complex engineering challenges with practical, innovative solutions.
- Contribute to product development, application software, and technical documentation.
- Deliver and develop SEL University training and share knowledge at industry events.
- Act as a technical advisor and mentor, promoting SEL values and continuous improvement.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- 8+ years of experience in power systems or related applications.
- Strong communication, training, and customer-facing skills.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate globally, and travel as required.
- High standards of integrity, professionalism, and technical excellence.
