Job Responsibilities

  • Provide effective leadership and direction to a team of High Bay Warehouse Controllers on each night shift.
  • Oversee day‑to‑day activities on night shift in the high‑bay warehouse area, including cleanliness activities, replenishment, and dispatch.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound stock movements to meet business demand.
  • Oversee the operation of the automated storage and retrieval system, conveyor systems, pallet shuttles, and warehouse control systems.
  • Provide comprehensive reports and feedback regarding any issues encountered during the night shift, ensuring that all documentation is thoroughly completed.
  • Monitor system performance, identify blockages or failures, and liaise with Maintenance and IT support as required.
  • Coordinate workload across the team to meet daily KPIs and business requirements.

Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience in an automated warehouse environment (high‑bay or automated warehouse preferred).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
  • Good understanding of warehouse processes, stock control and health & safety standards.
  • Experience with EWM systems and handheld scanners.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast‑paced environments.
  • A proactive and hands‑on mentality with strong communication and problem‑solving skills.

This role requires working on a permanent night shift basis.
