WHAT YOU DO
- To undertake all site services tasks in relation to the steam boiler, water, drainage, compressed air, and electrical systems, function within legal, customer, environmental, and business requirements.
- Supporting vital logistics functions, including the high bay warehouse (HBW), dispatch, pallet sorting, and mixing.
- Performing reactive maintenance, routine checks, and preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment while documenting works in the SAP PM system.
- Undertaking necessary electrical and mechanical repairs on site services and logistics machinery.
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards across all aforementioned areas of responsibility.
- Delivering valuable input for continuous improvement tasks and future engineering projects.
- Coordinating statutory inspections and testing while acting as the primary site contact.
WHO YOU ARE
- Have attained a BTEC, ONC, or HNC in an engineering discipline is obligatory, alongside 2 to 5 years of overall work and trade experience.
- Mandatory knowledge of working with shell boilers and conducting the necessary daily checks is required for this role.
- Committing to a shift pattern of 4 on and 4 off days is an essential part of the job.
- Bringing a positive attitude, immense reliability, and a strong willingness to learn through training will help you thrive whether working independently or within a team.
- Self-motivation and enthusiasm, coupled with a high standard of personal performance, are fundamental expectations.
- Additional preferable skills include experience in food manufacturing, a BOAS qualification, MEWP/FLT knowledge, and basic proficiency in SAP.

Contract type: 2nd March 2026 - permanent. Working time: 42 hours per week on average // 12 - hours shifts // 4 on 4 off // 6 am - 6 pm. Basic hourly rate: £20.71 plus a 20% shift premium.
