This is a key role within our production management team. Leading two shift teams, the successful applicant will oversee our state-of-the-art reconditioning facility, ensuring optimum efficiencies and compliance with all statutory legal requirements, as well as our internal quality and safety standards.
Some of your key tasks will be:
- Manage and control the Reconditioning plant
- Ensure manpower is effectively utilised to meet demand
- Support good team relationships through motivation and effective communications
- Monitor team and individual performance and identify training needs
- Maintain and evidence documentation and practices
- Ensure all work is carried out within the scope of Environment Agency requirements
Skills/Experience:
- Managerial or engineering qualification
- Previous supervisory experience
- WAMITAB qualification, or willingness to qualify
- Motivation and leadership
- Organisation and prioritising
- Proficient level of IT competence
- SAP experience would be advantageous (desired)
- Health & Safety qualification, e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH (desired)
You will need to be:
- Self-motivated; pro-active
- Problem-solving; analytical thinking
- Good communicator; ability to manage and work as part of a busy team
- Personable manner and presentation
