Reports To: Senior CRO Analyst

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role: We’re looking for a data-driven and detail-oriented Junior Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) Analyst to join our digital team. You’ll play a key role in using data to identify conversion opportunities across our digital platforms to support the planning, executing and analysis of A/B tests, and providing actionable insights using tools such as Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and ContentSquare. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data, user experience, and experimentation — someone who can translate user behaviour insights into optimisation strategies that enhance engagement and drive measurable business results. As this is a junior role, you do not need to have previous experience in a similar role. A training package will be provided to upskill you in all areas of the job and you’ll learn from other skilled, experienced analysts. If you’re data-driven looking for an opportunity to work within an exciting ecommerce team, this could be the role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use analytical and behavioural tools alongside customer feedback to monitor performance of schuh’s digital touchpoints to understand user behaviour, and identify optimisation opportunities in the customer journey.
  • Create test hypotheses based on qualitative and quantitative data, working closely with UX, design, and IT teams to bring experiments to life.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, translating data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Maintain documentation of experiments, learnings, and testing frameworks.

Requirements:

  • Strong interest in data, analytics, and improving online customer experiences.
  • Naturally curious and eager to learn, with a proactive approach to developing new skills.
  • Comfortable working with numbers and drawing insights from data (e.g. Excel, Google Sheets, or similar).
  • Basic understanding of ecommerce or digital marketing concepts (e.g. customer journeys, conversion funnels).
  • Good problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and ask insightful questions.
  • Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain ideas and findings in a simple, structured way.

About the perks/benefits:

  • Up to 40% product discount for you and your loved ones.
  • Up to 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) PLUS your birthday off to celebrate you.
  • Flexible working hours and hybrid working options.
  • Perk platform for hundreds of discounts.
  • Manage, save and access your wages as you earn them to get paid your way.
  • Employee assistance programme to support your wellbeing through resources, helplines and Virtual GP services.
  • A pension scheme to help you save for the future.
  • Development and progression opportunities across stores and Head Office.
  • A paid volunteering day and opportunities to be a part of our company Purpose Groups.
