Main Function: To support and assist the Buyers in delivering the business strategy for our organisation.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
- Support and assist the Senior Buyer in buying branded footwear ranges from global sports brands
- Supporting the Senior Buyer to help build commercially viable product ranges that reflects the schuh brand image and current trends
- Working closely with the Merchandising team and with guidance of the Senior Buyer to manage and deliver the strategy for their department and achieve target intake margins/sales and profit plan
- Ensure that department ranges are bought and delivered on time and within OTB requirements
- Working closely with the merchandising team to with the direction from Senior Buyer
- Using sales and performance information to suggest areas for maximizing all sales opportunities
- Understands market with strong competitor awareness
- Managing and supporting BAA’s on the team
- Ambassador for the Buying team, working closely with Retail/Marketing/Ecommerce/Merchandising building strong relations with all stake holders
- Supporting the Buyers/Buying Manager/HOB/Buying Director in any other areas required
