Job Title: Photographer and Editor (Junior)

Reports To: Studio Manager

Accountable For: As a Junior Photographer, you’ll play a key role in producing high-quality, on-brand imagery across e-commerce, marketing campaigns, and social media. You will have strong technical photography skills and a keen eye for fashion to grow within a dynamic creative environment.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Photography Art Director and Senior Photographers in:
  • Capturing high-quality ecommerce product and creative lifestyle imagery across studio and location shoots.
  • Editing and retouching images for various platforms including e-commerce, social media, and print.
  • Testing and developing new photography styles and ideas for the wider team
  • Supporting the photographers with departmental processes as required
  • Work with the wider team to ensure lines make the site / non – internet lines are followed up, images are fully optimised for page load speed and colour matched correctly.
  • Maintain file organisation and ensure assets are delivered to spec and on time.
  • Ensure that the daily/ weekly deadlines are met and all new styles are live on the site within the set timeline.
  • Upload and script images.
  • Participate in creative sessions to plan and review content. Work with the content team and assist on shoots and campaigns as required, including occasional off-site shoots and event coverage.
  • Stay up to date with visual trends in fashion, footwear, and content creation.
  • Work to specific briefs and deadlines.
  • Liaise with other departments when necessary and do so in a professional manner.
  • Any tasks required from the PR and buying teams from samples to lookbook shoots.
  • Ensure company standards and guidelines are met consistently.
  • Adhere to general housekeeping standards.
  • Attend training courses when required.
  • Undertake tasks delegated by management
  • Ensure all communication adheres to the GDPR policies
  • Work with own initiative and as part of the wider team
  • Understand and comply with the Company’s Health & Safety policy & procedures
  • Carry out any other duties as required by Company management

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree or diploma in photography, visual arts, or a related creative discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • 1+ years of experience in fashion or product photography, internships considered.
  • Proficient in Capture One and Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop.
  • Strong knowledge of studio lighting and camera equipment (Canon preferred).
  • Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • A well-rounded portfolio showcasing product and fashion lifestyle photography.
  • Enthusiastic, collaborative, and eager to learn and grow within a creative team.
  • Reliable transport or Full UK Driver\’s License to commute to our Bathgate office.
