We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a proven track record of driving successful technology design and delivery. The ideal candidate should possess high standards, an eye for detail, a continuous improvement mindset, and a strong analytical toolkit. A deep understanding of the financial services industry is essential. The candidate must influence senior stakeholders, deliver business value, and demonstrate a passion for innovation. They should be comfortable working in a pre‑programme mobilisation environment as well as supporting analysis on in‑flight delivery programmes through to production.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with the Product Lead and senior business stakeholders across Client Engagement, collaborating with multiple domains spanning both our Public and Private businesses.
- Lead analysis across complex change and early‑stage initiatives—translating ambiguous problems into clear, actionable outcomes.
- Shape and validate end‑to‑end business requirements, ensuring they are understood, prioritised, and delivered through to successful adoption and measurable value.
- Drive proof‑of‑value and proof‑of‑concept work to rapidly test ideas, de‑risk delivery, and build compelling cases for investment.
- Support data integration initiatives, helping connect Salesforce with upstream and downstream platforms to enable joined‑up client journeys and high‑quality insight.
- Harness emerging AI capabilities to enhance productivity, decision‑making, and client engagement—identifying practical use cases and guiding them from concept to implementation.
Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications You Need
- Extensive experience in technology change delivery within a large global financial services organisation.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills such as business process modelling, requirements gathering, technical diagramming, and workshop facilitation.
- Background in Salesforce with a Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator certification as a minimum (other associated certifications such as Certified Business Analyst or Certified Sales Cloud Consultant are optional).
- Ability to take a holistic view to determine the target state proposal, including changes to the Business Operating Model and Data architecture alongside the Technology Platform.
- Proficiency in using technical diagramming and white‑boarding tools.
- Good eye for detail, hands‑on experience producing technical specifications and gap‑analysis outputs, and strong written and verbal presentation skills.
- Broad experience of business analysis across a number of capabilities, systems and teams; a breadth of positive experiences is valued higher than sheer length of experience.
- Strong knowledge and experience of end‑to‑end SDLC processes (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid etc.).
- Experience of working with global colleagues and stakeholders and sensitivity to cultural differences, time zones etc.
