Overview
We are looking for an accountant with good IT skills to join our Service Centre accounting team. Your role will be to assist in the production of the Wealth Assets under Management (AUM) and Revenue Analytics reporting for the Global Schroders Wealth Management division. The Service centre accounting team manages the financial reporting requirements for our Wealth Management subsidiaries. The role reports into the Wealth AUM Accountant. You will be part of a team of seven, managing the accounting for five of our Wealth management subsidiaries and Global Wealth management AUM and Revenue analytics reporting. This is a newly created role with the roll out of our new Revenue analytic reporting.

Responsibilities
- Check the AUM results, positions and movements, in the database and make amendments where needed.
- Produce the Weekly and Monthly AUM and Revenue pack for senior management.
- Supporting the business with ad-hoc requests.
- Participation in projects as they arise.
- Produce additional monthly AUM and Revenue reports for teams across Schroders.
- Submit the Wealth AUM and movement information to Group.
- Liaise with the wider finance teams and local offices.
- Ensure SLA KPIs and Group reporting deadlines are met.
- Act as back-up for the AUM Accountant.
- Produce and maintain standardised procedure documentation.
Qualifications
- Qualified or part qualified accountant.
- Skilled and experienced MS Office user (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Management Studio experience to query SQL based information would be beneficial.
- Financial services experience beneficial.
- Client orientation with focus on timely delivery.
- Effective in managing your own time with ability to prioritise tasks.
- Open to feedback, receptive to change, challenges status quo and continually looks out for team and self-improvement opportunities.
