The team

Schroders Wealth Transformation team is a newly established team with a remit across the transformation lifecycle from strategy to execution. We collaborate with our business and technology partners across the Schroders Group to enable our Cazenove and Schroders International Wealth business to thrive in an increasingly competitive, regulated and margin pressured global landscape by shaping, mobilising and delivering both transformational and essential change to allow the business to grow profitably while providing high levels of investment performance and client experience.


What you'll do

You will lead business analysis on complex, high-impact initiatives, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to support solution design, process and technology change, and successful delivery to BAU. You will also provide guidance and mentoring to other Business Analysts within your project team, championing high standards and best practice in business analysis across the Wealth Transformation community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver high-quality business analysis on assigned workstreams or projects within the Wealth Portfolio, supporting transformational and essential change.

  • Capture, analyse and document business requirements, process flows, and solution options, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and regulatory standards.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business, technology, and third parties to define effective, pragmatic solutions to complex business challenges.

  • Take a key role in the design and implementation of process, organisational, and system change within assigned initiatives, ensuring smooth transition of solutions into BAU.

  • Coordinate UAT execution and support fault/issue analysis, ensuring delivered solutions meet agreed business requirements and quality standards.

  • Ensure business analysis activities and outputs are fully documented, providing a clear audit trail for compliance and governance purposes.

  • Support the initial assessment of new initiatives by contributing to high-level sizing, scoping, and value analysis.

  • Build strong relationships with key business and technology stakeholders, acting as a trusted partner for analysis, solution design, and change delivery.

  • Support, guide and mentor Business Analysts working on the same initiative, providing day-to-day coaching and sharing of best practice.

  • Champion and apply business analysis best practice by continuously improving your own work and actively sharing knowledge within the Wealth Transformation community.

  • Serve as the trusted subject matter expert within project scope.

  • Communicate analysis findings, recommendations, and progress updates clearly and succinctly to stakeholders, project managers and transformation leads.

  • Proactively manage and escalate analysis-related risks, issues, and dependencies within your project.

  • Demonstrate understanding of the business’s strategic direction and project objectives, ensuring that analysis, design, and recommendations consistently align with and support the long-term aims of Wealth Management.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

  • Experience and understanding of the Wealth Management and Asset Management industries.

  • Proven experience delivering high quality business analysis across complex change initiatives.

  • Advanced knowledge and practical application of core business analysis techniques, including requirements elicitation, process mapping, options analysis, gap analysis, and solution evaluation.

  • Proven ability to take a leading role in the design and implementation of business process and technology change within assigned projects or workstreams

  • Strong experience collaborating with a broad range of business and technology stakeholders - including senior stakeholders - actively championing collaboration and shared outcomes.

  • Proven experience working in multidisciplinary teams and within delivery frameworks such as Agile and Waterfall.

  • Skilled in presenting analysis and recommendations succinctly to different audiences, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

  • Experience facilitating workshops, interviews, and meetings with stakeholders to elicit, clarify, and validate requirements and solutions.

  • Logical and structured thinker, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Skilled in analysis and interpretation of data sets to extract insights, identify business needs and issues, and inform recommendations and solutions.

  • Highly organised, adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proactive, resourceful, and able to take ownership for delivery of analysis outputs to a high standard.

  • Educated to at least undergraduate degree level.

  • Basic professional qualifications related to asset/wealth management and/or business analysis (such as ISEB) are desirable.

  • Demonstrates resilience, adaptability, and a commitment to high standards and continuous improvement.

  • Able to work well in a team.

  • Experience supporting, guiding, or informally mentoring junior analysts, and committed to sharing best practice.

  • Comfortable constructively challenging assumptions, exploring the root causes of business challenges, and ensuring solutions align to strategic objectives
