Schroders Wealth Transformation team is a newly established team with a remit across the transformation lifecycle from strategy to execution. We collaborate with our business and technology partners across the Schroders Group to enable our Cazenove and Schroders International Wealth business to thrive in an increasingly competitive, regulated and margin pressured global landscape by shaping, mobilising and delivering both transformational and essential change to allow the business to grow profitably while providing high levels of investment performance and client experience.

The role holder will be an enthusiastic and experienced Business Analyst who enjoys the challenges that come with delivering critical transformational change across our Wealth Management portfolio. You will work on complex, high-impact initiatives, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to support solution design, process and technology change, and successful delivery to BAU.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality business analysis to support transformational and essential change across the Wealth Portfolio.
  • Capture, analyse and document business requirements, process flows, and solution options, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business, technology, and third parties to define effective, pragmatic solutions to complex business challenges.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of process, organisational and system change, ensuring smooth transition of solutions into business-as-usual operations.
  • Support preparation and execution of user acceptance testing, ensuring delivered solutions meet agreed business requirements and quality standards.
  • Ensure business analysis activities and outputs are fully documented, providing a clear audit trail for compliance and governance purposes.
  • Communicate analysis findings, recommendations, and progress updates clearly and succinctly to stakeholders, project managers and transformation leads.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted partner for analysis, solution design, and change delivery.
  • Apply best practices in business analysis to drive continuous improvement in your own work and contribute effectively to successful project outcomes.
  • Capture, analyse and document detailed data requirements to support the design and delivery of data products and solutions.
  • Conduct analysis and mapping of data sources, structures and interfaces to support solution design and system implementation.

The knowledge, experience and competencies you need:

  • Experience and understanding of the Wealth Management and Asset Management industries.
  • Proven experience delivering business analysis across a variety of change initiatives.
  • Knowledge of core business analysis techniques, including requirements elicitation, process mapping, gap analysis, and solution evaluation.
  • Skilled in the design and implementation of both business process and technology change.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across business and technology teams, actively championing collaboration and shared outcomes.
  • Proven experience working in multidisciplinary teams and within delivery frameworks such as Agile and Waterfall.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate complex information succinctly and clearly.
  • Logical and structured thinker, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience capturing and documenting data requirements for data products, reporting solutions or similar initiatives.
  • Skilled in analysing data sets to extract insights, identify issues, and inform recommendations.
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and able to take ownership of tasks through to delivery.
  • Educated to at least undergraduate degree level.
  • Basic professional qualifications related to asset/wealth management and/or business analysis (such as ISEB) are desirable.
  • Demonstrates resilience, adaptability, and a commitment to high standards and continuous improvement.
  • Able to work well in a team.
