We're looking for someone to join our Trade Processing and Settlements as a subject matter expert.

You will be responsible for all business procedures and processes related to booking and confirming securities trades and ensure day to day tasks are fulfilled in compliance with our SLAs and regulatory framework.

What you'll do

  • Actively overseeing and coordinating the activities of the booking team, ensuring BAU and business change workloads are shared evenly and realigning as necessary
  • Acting as a senior escalation point for the team, handling complex trade booking issues with internal and external stakeholders as required to ensure timely and high quality results are achieved
  • Continuously reviewing and improving day-to-day processes as well as Adonis processes utilising department MI
  • Drawing ideas from the team to save time and cost, reduce risk and improve service quality
  • Representing the Trade Processing Team in projects, planning, organizing and conducting UAT activities
  • Managing Adonis controls, CASS compliance, managing KPIs and unsettled trade reporting
  • Ensuring the reconciliation of the Swiss Stamp Tax Journal (quarterly)
  • Promoting efficient and independent resolution of trade processing related enquiries
  • Reporting and documenting any potential Risk Event
  • Responsible for a same-day processing and booking of all securities trades, including Derivatives Futures & Options
  • Handling of Third-Party Custody transactions
  • Initiating payments for fund subscriptions, new issues and private equities
  • Ensuring that all securities bookings comply with internal and external requirements
  • Swiss (SWX) Transaction Reporting
  • Daily/monthly review of CSDR - Settlement Discipline Rule Fine Reports
  • The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
  • Previous experience gained within a trade confirmation/booking team covering Equities, FI, Funds and Derivatives (Futures and Options)
  • Experience of balancing daily tasks, queries and project work tasks in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Strong people management skills covering staff, stakeholders and other business areas
  • IT user skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Core Banking Applications
  • Numerical skills and the ability to monitor and produce high quality MIS, and naturally perform root cause analysis
  • Knowledge of Transaction Reporting.
