As a Lead Analyst 2, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Cash and Treasury functions.

You will be a Cash and Treasury Operations subject matter expert with responsibility for a range of tasks, ensuring these are executed in a timely and professional manner.

You will lead Cash and Treasury Operations Analysts and provide cover for the team manager.

What you'll do

  • Manage and oversee all cash flow processes, both interbank and client-related.
  • Handle collateral and cash management with a high level of expertise.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office tools effectively to support daily tasks.
  • Leverage experience with the T24 system to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and external counterparties.
  • Support team activities and business operations, offering assistance wherever possible.
  • Adapt quickly to changes and promote an innovative culture within the team.
  • Settling of repo/reverse repo and money market placements.
  • Undertake the transmission/receipt of settlement instructions and payment/receipt of settlement amounts.
  • Prepare, maintain, and supervise daily and intraday nostro cash positions with Correspondence banks and custodians.
  • Maintain counterparty static data including settlement instructions and limits.
  • Manage collateral relating to OTC derivative positions.
  • Ensure the daily settlement of the bank and building society deposits (BBD) as well as monthly capitalization work.
  • Undertake reversals, adjustments, and corrections of client Treasury deals.
  • The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

IMC or IOC qualification required.

Strong understanding of cash flow processes.

  • Good knowledge of collateral and cash management.
  • Experience of a Treasury products such as MM, FX, Repo & IRS
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with the T24 system is beneficial.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and manage strong working relationships.
  • Receptive to feedback and open to change.
  • Expertise in Cash and Treasury Operations.
  • Ability to handle complex issues throughout their lifecycle.
  • Experience in managing risk and optimizing workflows.
  • Strong collaboration skills with Investment, Operations, and Accounting colleagues.
  • Leadership skills to direct and assign workloads across the team daily.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
