We are seeking a motivated and analytical individual to join our Management Information (MI) team under Platform Business Management. This role is ideal for candidates who have an interest in technology, enjoy learning and working with different automation and data visualisation tools, and are keen to learn how data supports business decisions. The MI team is responsible for the collection, analysis, and presentation of data that supports decision-making for senior management. We use data to assess business performance, inform strategic decisions, and enhance operational efficiency.
The successful candidate will support the team in interpreting information, helping to create Power BI reports that are used for decision making by senior management. Engaging with various departments at Schroders, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of how key performance indicators are identified and measured, enabling you to contribute meaningfully to our operational excellence. You’ll need to enjoy learning new skills and working in a busy environment with tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities- Support the MI team in gathering, checking, and organising data from various sources within the business.
- Assist in updating and maintaining regular management information reports and dashboards, using tools such as Alteryx, Power Automate and Power BI.
- Work with the team to help ensure data quality and consistency across all information gathered.
- Support the development and execution of the Global Operating Platform strategy and initiatives.
- Interest in working with data and learning about management information reporting.
- Demonstrated technical aptitude, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools.
- While prior experience with specific technologies such as Alteryx or Microsoft Power Platform applications (e.g., Power Automate, Power Query, Power BI) is advantageous, candidates should be able to show strong overall technical proficiency and a proven capacity to rapidly acquire new technical skills.
- Able to work effectively as part of a supportive and collaborative team.
- Strong attention to detail and a conscientious approach to tasks.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to problem solve, a curious mindset and interest in process improvement.
