The Programme:
This 10-week Summer Internship is designed to give you a unique introduction to the Asset Management industry and offers valuable insight into how your chosen department operates within Schroders.
Throughout the programme you will:
- Be paired with a dedicated graduate buddy who will guide and support your integration into the team and wider business.
- Take part in comprehensive introductory training to build your understanding of the business.
- Be assigned to a team where you will contribute to live projects and gain meaningful hands-on experience.
- Shadow experienced professionals and learn directly from leaders in the field
- Have opportunities to network with colleagues and other interns, helping you build connections for your future career

Who is Schroders looking for:
- You will be in your penultimate year of study and graduating in 2027. Unfortunately, Schroders are no longer accept applications from students considering further studies (i.e Masters).
- An honours degree or equivalent – Schroders are not fussed when it comes to your degree subject.
- Maths A-level or equivalent is preferable (a STEM degree if you do not hold a Maths A-level or equivalent)/
- Following successful completion of the 2026 Internship Programme, candidates should also have a desire to join Schroders; Finance division on their 2027 Graduate programme.
Required skills:
- The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for numbers, an analytical mindset and an appetite for challenge.
- Awareness of current affairs and basic understanding of regulatory issues in asset management
- Strong analysis and interpretation of financial data and applies statistical techniques
- Proficient in Excel for analysis, visualisation, use of advanced formulas and pivot tables
- Communicates financial concepts clearly and prioritises work effectively.
