Who we’re looking for
You’ll be an experienced content marketeer with strong experience in developing and delivering high-quality thought leadership and strategic marketing content within asset management. You will combine investment expertise with exceptional editorial skills, and the credibility to engage with and influence our investment colleagues.
You will be comfortable operating with project ownership and mandate, helping drive a structured content agenda. You will work closely with investment colleagues, sales colleagues and marketing colleagues to align on priorities, guide messaging, and achieve timely sign-off. You will play a critical role in helping our function achieve effective content planning and delivery.
You will have the creativity and confidence to translate complex investment subject matter into clear narratives for both institutional and intermediary audiences.

The team
The Central Content Team sits within the Proposition & Marketing Campaign Team and works extremely closely with other members of this wider team. We also work with marketing colleagues in Schroders’ other global offices; the Media Relations Team; Video Team, events and other functions. The Central Content Team is responsible for the planning, production and distribution of English-language content. We oversee regular publications as well as reactive content (e.g. in response to market events). Most of our work however is campaign-oriented and aims to support sales initiatives of priority products around the world.
What you’ll do
As Content Manager, you will assist in planning and producing a range of content items to an agreed schedule, across all of the three content categories above. Key responsibilities will include:
- Support the development and maintenance of a long-term, proactive content roadmap, aligned to business priorities and key market themes
- Produce content yourself, including writing it and/or working with other authors (or colleagues in Video)
- Assist in creating social assets
- Maintain high editorial standards, ensuring consistency in tone, quality, and brand positioning. This will include an ability to translate complex investment topics into clear, differentiated narratives
- Assist in the uploading and digital presentation of content
- Optimise content for search engines and AI models (SEO/GEO/AEO) to enhance organic visibility and drive traffic to digital platforms.
- Monitor content performance data to measure the effectiveness of content marketing efforts
- Support activation across channels (e.g., work with colleagues to ensure text, imagery, charts and social assets are available for translation and localised use)
- Take a strong interest in financial markets, Schroders’ performance and competitors’ activities, as well as other newsflow to help increase the relevance of our output
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
- Experience in content, ideally within asset management or financial services
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex investment topics without losing depth or credibility
- An understanding of market dynamics, investment strategies and economic themes
- A broad knowledge of audiences/client types and their likely interests
- Familiarity with digital content production processes
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders
- Strong organisational and planning skills
