Programme overview:
Our 2026 Summer Internship Programme runs for 10 weeks, starting on Monday 15 June and finishing on Friday 21st August 2026. This internship is designed to give you a unique introduction to the Asset Management industry and offers valuable insight into how your chosen department operates within Schroders. In order to be eligible you must be in your penultimate year of study (Graduating 2027).
Throughout the programme you will:

  • Take part in comprehensive introductory training to build your understanding of the business
  • Be assigned to a team where you will contribute to live projects and gain meaningful hands-on experience
  • Shadow experienced professionals and learn directly from leaders in the field
  • Have opportunities to network with colleagues and other interns, helping you build connections for your future career

The team:
Cazenove Capital is the dedicated Wealth Management business of the Schroder Group in the UK, renowned for providing specialist financial solutions to high-net-worth individuals, family offices, charities, and their advisers. Leveraging the investment expertise of both Cazenove Capital and Schroders, as well as carefully selected external providers, we deliver leading portfolio management, banking, and investment advisory services. Our longstanding client relationships and commitment to the highest standards of professionalism and integrity have established us as a leader in private wealth management.
As an Intern, you will gain hands-on experience through core areas of our Wealth businesss. You will collaborate with experienced professionals, work closely with clients, and develop a strong understanding of investments, financial planning, and client relationship management.
Knowledge, experience and qualifications we're looking for:
  • An honours degree or equivalent - we're not fussed when it comes to your degree subject or predicted grade, however a STEM or Finance related degree would be beneficial
  • You will be in your penultimate year of study - must be graduating in 2027. Unfortunately we no longer accept applications from final year students considering further studies (i.e Masters) upon completion of undergraduate course
  • A good working knowledge of document production software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • The ability to understand our target audiences
