We are seeking a proactive, highly organised Events Manager, Private Markets to join the Schroders Capital marketing team. The ideal candidate will have handsâon experience of organising and delivering professional owned events, as well as coordinating engagement and involvement in flagship thirdâparty conferences, ideally within an asset management or financial services environment focused on institutional or professional client audiences.
You will have a strong track record of endâtoâend event delivery from planning and invitation/registration management to event logistics. The Schroders Capital marketing team operates as a multiâdisciplined team, which is integrated into our wider specialist Business Development Team and collaborates closely with the wider sales teams, the central marketing team and regional marketing hubs. In this deliveryâfocused role, you will be responsible for the endâtoâend execution of Schroders Capital events, including both owned events and our involvement in thirdâparty conferences and sponsorships. Working closely with colleagues across Marketing, Business Development, Investment, and in close collaboration with our Events Marketing Lead, you will ensure events are delivered to the highest standard and aligned with business objectives and our marketing and events frameworks.
- Manage the full lifecycle of assigned events, from brief and planning through to delivery and postâevent followâup, working with the wider Schroders Capital marketing team and colleagues across the business.
- Take ownership of hosted events, including venue sourcing, logistics, AV/production management, onâsite delivery, delegate management, supplier coordination, and event materials.
- Coordinate Schroders Capital's participation in thirdâparty events, including delegate registration, speaking slots, sponsorship deliverables, exhibition stand requirements, travel coordination, and branding.
- Support the creation of event marketing assets, including invitations, registration pages, delegate communications, and attendee journeys, ensuring relevant compliance requirements are met.
- Work closely with colleagues in the Schroders Capital marketing team on event promotion and ensure updates are accurately reflected across relevant digital channels.
- Manage event registration processes, monitoring engagement and ensuring a smooth client experience.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across Schroders Capital marketing, as well as Business Development, PR, Compliance, and Investment teams to ensure events are delivered to the highest standards and in line with business requirements.
- Set up and lead crossâfunctional event working groups to ensure alignment, clear communication, and strong coordination throughout the planning process.
- Oversee all operational aspects including budgets for individual events, supplier management, contract oversight and compliance requirements.
- Ensure all events meet Schroders Capital brand standards and reflect a highâquality client experience.
- Act as the primary onâsite contact for events, ensuring smooth execution and rapid issueâresolution.
- Coordinate postâevent analysis in partnership with the Business Development teams.
- Help evaluate success metrics, gather attendee insights and ensure timely followâup activities.
Proven experience delivering endâtoâend event management in a professional or financial services environment is required. Experience working with institutional or professional investor audiences (asset management or private markets experience is a strong advantage) is also necessary. High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences are essential. Excellent communication and stakeholderâmanagement skills are needed, along with the ability to work effectively under pressure and within tight deadlines. Strong logistical and projectâmanagement skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously, are important.
Familiarity with event technology platforms such as Cvent, Zoom, Teams, or similar is beneficial. Knowledge of digital marketing processes and how events integrate into wider marketing activity is helpful. Professional training or certifications in event management or marketing is desirable. Experience contributing to event evaluation, reporting, and audience insights is also advantageous.
