As a key member of the regional team, the Existing Relationship Adviser is responsible for delivering a proactive and outstanding customer experience and ongoing financial advice services to our established client base.
As an Existing Relationship Adviser, you’ll play a central role in nurturing and growing our long-term client relationships, ensuring they continue to receive outstanding financial advice and support. You’ll be the trusted partner clients rely on—guiding them through life’s milestones, helping them make informed financial decisions, and strengthening connections that span multiple generations. You understand that great financial advice comes from truly knowing your clients. You’ll take the time to understand their goals, motivations, and circumstances, delivering proactive, holistic advice that evolves as their needs change. Through meaningful engagement, you’ll deepen existing relationships, identify new opportunities to add value, and help clients feel confident about their financial future. You’ll join a collaborative, forward-thinking team where your expertise is valued and your development is supported. Responsibilities
- Managing a designated portfolio of existing customers and building out additional business and referrals from that customer base.
- Conducting ongoing advice review meetings and providing holistic financial advice to meet both immediate and ongoing financial needs.
- Completing comprehensive client meetings and using available tools and cash flow modelling knowledge to analyse and help your clients to understand the benefits of having advice.
- Proactively reviewing client relationships to identify opportunities to increase your book by identifying advice needs to be addressed and by taking on recently acquired clients introduced from the wider hub team.
- Owning the client relationship, orchestrating the delivery of excellent ongoing service and identifying any potential areas for improvement or risks within ongoing relationships.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
- Seeking to develop personal capability and knowledge and maintain a full understanding of the wider marketplace and industry shifts.
Qualifications & Skills
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (Level 6 / Chartered status desirable but not essential).
- Experience in providing financial advice to clients, with a strong track record of delivering quality service.
- Proven experience in conducting client meetings and creating financial plans.
- Strong knowledge across all areas of financial planning and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to ensure clients receive an excellent experience.
- Open and welcoming to change, have exceptional problem-solving skills and an ability to stay focused in times of uncertainty.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong organisational skills to manage a large and diverse task list to ensure we deliver great client journeys.
