Our Outcome Testing team helps keep SPW safe and ensures we are delivering the very best advice to our clients. They are responsible for reviewing advice delivered by our Personal Wealth Advisers and ensuring it meets the high standards we set ourselves. This role involves monitoring, reviewing, and providing feedback to improve advisory processes, ensuring they meet regulatory standards and deliver excellent client outcomes. This role provides support and feedback enabling supervisors to coach advisers to develop their technical capabilities and help deliver more high-quality holistic advice to more clients.
Key Responsibilities- Oversight and Monitoring: Conduct outcome testing of advice cases to ensure quality and compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies; assist in monitoring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Reporting: Produce MI to identify key trends and communicate findings to stakeholders across SPW; support stakeholders by maintaining accurate data and records to support good governance and data capture; prepare and present reports on advice quality and compliance to senior management.
- Training and Development: Provide feedback to enable supervisors to coach advisers to develop and improve their advice capabilities.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage and collaborate with the wider Risk function to ensure alignment and support.
- Level 4 (Financial Planning) Qualification mandatory
- Previous experience of providing regulated financial advice or advice outcome testing
- Highly inquisitive, able to work and communicate with a diverse range of people and skill sets
- Be an excellent team player
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to financial advice
