As a Graduate Lighting Project Designer, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of our Signature Projects by contributing to both the creative and technical development of tailored solutions. Working closely with Project Managers, you will assist in meeting customer needs and support the commercial sales team to help drive growth within the segment. As well as supporting, you will also take ownership of selected projects, ensuring they are delivered in line with agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards. This early‑career role is designed to provide strong development opportunities, offering hands‑on experience, technical growth, and pathways for progression.
Main responsibilities within the job:
- Support Signature Projects Managers from conception through to delivery or at/to set stages as required.
- Review customer specifications and project requirements and tailor solutions to suit.
- Generate Signature Project proposals including scope documents and preparation of quotations.
- Carry out accurate pricing of solutions and monitoring of costs.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with both customers and internal/external stakeholders to ensure a collaborative approach that delivers positive and sustainable results.
- Support the commercial sales team in customer meetings by providing technical expertise and solution insights.
- Present proposals to customers and the internal team, online and in person.
- Generate drawings, visuals (conceptual and final solutions) to support the specification and aid communication of our solutions to the customer, both for the Project Managers and your own projects.
- Produce high quality presentations to grow awareness of Signature Projects and support project proposals.
- Provide customer and internal technical support in relation to Signature solutions.
- Support site visits and commissioning.
- Review and approve engineering drawings.
- Carry out lighting designs to support Signature projects proposals.
- Processing of Signature project orders in line with company procedures.
- Ensure deliverables meet the customer brief and contractual requirements in terms of the brief, quality, budget and timescale.

Qualifications:
- Degree in project design or industrial design.
Additional Information:
- Ideally have experience supporting sales teams and customers.
- Product and/or Lighting Design experience would be advantageous.
- Software: Microsoft 365 applications, CAD software experience, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Lighting Reality, DIALux.

- Face‑to‑face meetings with all stakeholders on site and at customers premises.
- Dynamic Team player.
- Able to travel to various locations across the UK.
- Driving license is preferable.
- Must be versatile, agile, willing to learn (including the above software as needed) and develop to support the business as it evolves.
