The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Course Leader within the Creative Industries section of the Health and Social Care department. As a Course Leader, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment to ensure successful learner outcomes and maximise the potential of every student to progress to their chosen destination. Key Responsibilities
- Teach students enrolled in a range of courses as assigned by your line manager, ensuring your teaching develops outstanding learners.
- Implement appropriate feedback and assessment systems to accurately check learning, adapting teaching as required to ensure learner progress.
- Lead the staff in your delivery team under the management of the Curriculum Manager.
- Operate within the Quality Assurance framework.
- Manage courses or parts of courses as required, including administration and organisation.
- Contribute to curriculum innovation, development, and implementation.
- Maintain a professional learning environment in the classroom consistently implementing the College’s behaviour management processes as required.
- Provide managers with accurate, timely, and up-to-date written and verbal reports about the performance of your curriculum.
- Demonstrate comprehensive curriculum knowledge.
