Looking for a teaching role where you’re supported, valued, and part of something bigger than just an agency? Our member school based in Matlock is currently looking for a Primary School Teacher to join their team within the coming weeks.

Your responsibilities as a Primary Teacher:

  • Preparing teaching materials ahead of each lesson and teaching lessons.
  • Organising the classroom, its display, and the resources used.
  • Evaluating pupils’ homework.
  • Keeping an eye on each child’s progress.
  • Collaborating with other educational professionals such as social workers or psychologists.
  • Communicating with parents.
  • Keeping up to date with the curriculum and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or working towards it (ECTs are encouraged to apply!)
  • Experience working within Early Years, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2.
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding, behaviour management, and adaptive teaching.
