Teaching Assistant, Newcastle
Schools Mutual Services is a not-for-profit recruitment service set up by Northeast Education Trusts and based within one of our schools in Newcastle.
We work by providing an efficient and diligent recruitment service to our schools alongside offering our candidates full Health and Wellbeing service including 24/7 access to a GP.
Within our Trusts, there is a need for a TA to join a partner school in Newcastle for a long-term period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup and daily operations of the new EYFS provision.
- Support the HLTA in planning and delivering engaging activities.
- Help create a nurturing and inclusive environment for all children.
- Assist in monitoring and assessing children\’s progress.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and caregivers.
To be considered for the TA position in Newcastle, you will be required to have the following:
- EYFS Practitioner Qualifications Such as:
- YMCA Level 3 Early Years Educator or,
- NCFE CACHE Level 3 Technical Diploma in Early Years Workforce or,
- YMCA Level 3 Early Years Workforce (Diploma) or,
- Early Years Care and Education or,
- Experience in leading early years sessions.
- Have the right to work within the UK.
