The Role:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Tractor Driver & Team Leader to join our team. If you have a passion for delivering excellent customer service and want to make the difference, then apply for this role today.
Main responsibilities for the Tractor Driver & Team Leader:
General maintenance of site – primarily grass cutting of large areas and fields with the use of a tractor, gang mower and roller mowers.
Hedge cutting with tractor flails and any other general maintenance grounds maintenance tasks required.
General day to day maintenance of tractor and use of a range of hand and powered equipment and ride-on mowers
Leading a small team and carrying out scheduled work to a high standard
Setting out and overmarking of sports pitches and upkeep of artificial/synthetic surfaces
Ensure company H&S policies are adhered to.
Making sure all daily checks have been completed by the team on relevant plant and machinery.
The successful applicant will be:
Highly motivated with communication and liaison skills
Experienced in commercial or amenity grounds maintenance
Experienced in tractor driving, gang mowing and roller mowing.
Experienced in the management and coordination of a small team.
Good communication and liaison skills , Clean current driving licence
Understanding of the technical aspects of grounds maintenance, ie, specifications and health and safety requirements
Desirable:
Good plant knowledge
Horticultural qualification
Experience of towing a trailer
Experience in Grounds Maintenance
PA1 & PA6
