About the Role

Based at Butler's Hill Infants & Nursery School, NG156AJ, you will work Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 2:00pm, covering 30 hours per week, 39.2 weeks per year. You will lead the day‑to‑day operation of the kitchen, ensuring high‑quality meals are prepared and served while maintaining excellent food safety standards.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Preparing and cooking meals in line with menu specifications
  • Managing stock levels and placing food orders
  • Leading and supporting kitchen colleagues
  • Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness
  • Managing food safety records and compliance requirements
  • Ensuring meals are served on time and to a high standard
  • Delivering excellent customer service

Who are we looking for?

An experienced catering professional. A confident leader with strong organisational skills. Someone passionate about food quality and customer service. Able to manage a busy kitchen environment.
