Project Officer

Salary & Contract

£18.35 PAYE / £24.13 Umbrella, 3-month initial contract

Working Arrangements

Hybrid working - minimum 2 days per week on-site (flexibility required)

We’re recruiting for a Project Officer to support a range of housing improvement projects within a Local Authority.

This is more than an administrative role - you’ll be involved in research, report writing, project planning, risk assessment, budgeting, stakeholder engagement and service reviews.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support reviews of Independent Living Services, Lifeline and Out of Hours services.
  • Contribute to projects around rents, service charges and tenancy agreements.
  • Produce project plans, risk registers, option appraisals and reports.
  • Carry out research, costings and feasibility assessments.
  • Organise tenant consultation and engagement events.
  • Develop policies, procedures and new ways of working.
  • Deliver training and guidance on service changes.

Requirements

  • Experience within Social Housing is essential.
  • Independent Living Services experience is desirable.
  • Previous Local Authority experience is preferred.
  • Strong project support, research and report-writing skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Must be within a commutable distance and able to attend site as required.
