About the Role

Based at Elizabethan High Comprehensive, DN22 7PY, you will be working 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 2:30pm, 39.2 weeks per year.

You'll play a key role in preparing and serving high quality school meals while supporting the smooth day to day operation of the kitchen.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Preparing and serving nutritious meals in line with menu specifications
  • Supporting the daily operation of the kitchen and maintaining service standards
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure an efficient catering service
  • Following food safety, hygiene and Health and Safety requirements
  • Assisting with stock control and helping to minimise waste
  • Completing records in line with company procedures
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen
