Vertas is looking for a dedicated Relief Cleaner to join our Facilities Team.
Based in the Belper area, this position is offered on a zero‑hours contract, working on an ad‑hoc basis to support business needs.
You’ll play a key role in maintaining high cleaning standards, ensuring sites are clean, safe, and welcoming – consistently meeting both our expectations and those of our customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning toilets and washrooms
- Wiping down tables and surfaces
- General cleaning duties across classrooms and communal areas
- Hoovering and mopping floors
- Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained
Who are we looking for?
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Enhanced DBS check is required – if you do not currently hold one, you must be willing to obtain it
- Great communication skills and experience in a similar cleaning setting
