We are currently recruiting for an experienced Neighbourhood & Tenancy Officer to join a busy Local Authority team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage your own patch / neighbourhood, building strong community relationships.
- Handle anti-social behaviour cases from start to finish, including enforcement where needed.
- Support tenancy management, resolving breaches and ensuring compliance.
- Work with internal teams and external agencies to improve neighbourhoods.
- Attend court where required and prepare case files.
- Ensure following all legal requirements set out in the Safeguarding Policy, Data Protection Act, Equality Act and comply with all council policies and codes; report and follow up on any emerging safeguarding risks, attending case conferences as required.

Requirements
- Experience in neighbourhood, tenancy or ASB roles.
- Background in Local Authority or Housing Association.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Enhanced DBS required.
- Sound knowledge of housing legislation, regulation and policy in relation to tenancy, leaseholder and housing management services and its practical application in various circumstances.
