Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of Redditch Borough Council for a Cleaner/Caretaker to be part of an extra care scheme and ensure properties and surrounding areas remain clean, tidy, safe, secure and in good condition, both by direct action and by monitoring of estate services provided by colleagues & contractors.
Responsibilities:
- Sweep, clean & mop all internal areas, including windows where accessible, and clean out bin stores and ensure bins are ready for collection as necessary.
- Undertake void property clearance and cleaning works to a clear and specific specification.
- Clean resident bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas.
- Laundry services.
- Request and monitor repairs to communal areas.
- Undertake bulk waste and garden clearance works from communal areas as requested.
- Health and Safety and Fire Safety inspections.
