Family Hub Practitioner – Holly Trees Family Hub, Redditch
Pay: £15.31 PAYE | £20.05 Umbrella
Hours: 22.5 hours per week – Monday, Tuesday, Friday (7.5 hours each day)
Working structure: Primarily onsite (Hub or council locations) with some hybrid flexibility; Assignment: 3 months (potential extension).

About the Role
Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Family Hub Practitioner to support families in Redditch. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference – supporting families with children aged 0‑19, with a focus on early years (under 5s). You’ll empower parents through practical guidance, helping improve outcomes in child development, school readiness, wellbeing, and family life.
What We’re Looking For:

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and group-based parenting support, including home visits and community sessions.
- Deliver evidence-based parenting programmes and lead engaging drop‑in sessions.
- Support families with key challenges such as child development, school readiness, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing.
- Work with partner agencies to deliver tailored, multi‑agency support.
Other Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with families, providing advice and guidance to improve parenting confidence, child development, and emotional wellbeing.
- Deliver parenting programmes and group sessions, using assessments and monitoring tools to track progress and demonstrate impact.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies, engage vulnerable families, and support community activities, volunteers, and peer networks.
- Ensure effective safeguarding practices, maintain accurate records, promote inclusion, and support a safe, welcoming Family Hub environment.
