Job Opportunity: Project Lead (Healthy Behaviours) Location: Endeavour House, Suffolk (Hybrid working available) Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week Contract: 6 months Salary: Competitive day rate offerd Join a Mission-Driven Team Transforming Public Health Across Suffolk On behalf of our client, Suffolk County Council , we are seeking a passionate and experienced Project Lead (Healthy Behaviours) to join the Public Health and Communities directorate. This is a unique opportunity to lead and shape initiatives that influence workplace health, promote active lifestyles, and support long-term wellbeing strategies for Suffolk\'s communities. About the Role As Project Lead, you will play a vital part in delivering public health programmes and resources that support Healthy People, Healthy Places, and Healthy Futures . You will lead key workstreams with a focus on: Workplace Health: Develop an evidence-led business case for workplace wellbeing and coordinate a cohesive offer for local businesses. Feel Good Suffolk Website: Curate and enhance content to boost user engagement, accessibility, and dementia friendliness. Sport England Programmes: Support the delivery of community-based physical activity initiatives. Cross-cutting Public Health Projects: Contribute to additional programmes around physical activity, health checks, and health inequalities. This role requires a confident communicator and collaborator with strong project management skills, ideally with a background in public health, health improvement, or related fields. Ideal Candidate Profile Experience and Skills: Proven project management experience in health, education or community sectors Ability to analyse and present complex data in a clear, user-friendly way Strong interpersonal, influencing, and facilitation skills Experience working with multi-agency partners across sectors Knowledge: Sound understanding of public health theory and practice Familiarity with health inequalities, workplace wellbeing, and community health Qualifications: Relevant degree or equivalent experience in public health or a related field Evidence of ongoing professional development Personal Attributes: Creative, adaptable and evidence-driven Committed to equality, inclusion, and making a real difference Strong alignment with Suffolk County Council\'s WE ASPIRE values Why Apply?
