About the Role
Based at Trent Vale Infant/Nursery, NG9 1LP, you will be working 8:30am to 1:30pm, Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week, 39.2 weeks per year.
You'll play a key role in delivering high quality school meals while leading the day to day operation of the kitchen.
Your responsibilities will include
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals in line with menu specifications.
- Managing the daily operation of the kitchen and ensuring service standards are maintained.
- Supervising and supporting kitchen colleagues.
- Monitoring food safety, hygiene and Health and Safety requirements.
- Managing stock levels, ordering supplies and minimising waste.
- Maintaining accurate records in line with company procedures.
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen.

- Experience working within a catering environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
