Overview
Opus Teach is a publicly owned education recruitment agency wholly owned by Suffolk County Council.
Based in Ipswich, we recruit for all types of supply teachers and temporary education staff.
We focus on listening to what schools want from supply staff and manage the expectations of vetted supply candidates.
Our operations run from 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with an online booking system that runs 24/7, allowing schools to book whenever needed.
A Newmarket-based primary school is in need of maternity cover, with day-to-day supply teaching work available in Newmarket.

Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the learning and progress of all students in allocated classes, ensuring equality of opportunity for all.
- Treat students with dignity, build relationships based on mutual respect, and observe professional boundaries.
- Be responsible and accountable for achieving high standards in pupils/students\' work and conduct in lessons.
- Work collaboratively with learners, other staff, parents/carers, governors and external agencies in the best interests of students.
- Take responsibility for safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Successful previous teaching experience.
- A passion for teaching and the ability to deliver high teaching standards.
- Ability to teach using a wide variety of strategies to maximise achievement for all students.
