Are you passionate about catering, teamwork, and delivering exceptional service? Vertas is looking for a dedicated Mobile Head of Kitchen to join our Catering Team.

About the Role

Based across Nottinghamshire, you will be working 30 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 1:00pm, 39.2 weeks per year.

You'll play a key role in supporting multiple catering sites, leading kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of high quality food and service standards.

As a mobile role, we will aim to allocate cover within your local area and surrounding locations wherever possible, although flexibility to travel across Nottinghamshire will be required.

  • Your responsibilities will include
  • Preparing and serving nutritious meals in line with menu specifications
  • Managing day to day kitchen operations across multiple sites
  • Supervising and supporting catering colleagues
  • Monitoring food safety, hygiene and Health and Safety requirements
  • Managing stock levels, ordering supplies and minimising waste
  • Maintaining accurate records in line with company procedures
  • Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and food quality
  • Providing support and cover where required across the catering operation
