Are you passionate about food, teamwork, and delivering exceptional service? Vertas is looking for a dedicated Mobile Assistant Cook to join our Catering team. Based from Worksop / Retford to Mansfield, this role is 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:30am to 13:30pm, with work across various locations.

Our team of 5,000 colleagues provides services including cleaning, catering, property design, recruitment, transport, and environmental management. Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and cooking of meals
- Serve food and maintain portion control
- Ensure kitchen and equipment are kept clean and hygienic
- Follow health and safety and food hygiene procedures
- Travel between sites as required
Requirements / What We Look For
- Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and flexible with a positive attitude
- Must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- The right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
