About the Role: Mobile Assistant School Cook based around the Newark area. 20 hours per week, Monday – Friday 9:30am – 1:30pm (flexible times). Own transport required. 39.2 weeks per year.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day‑to‑day running of the school kitchen.
  • Prepare and serve meals to pupils and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Order stock and manage budgets effectively.
  • Supervise and support kitchen staff.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Right to work in the UK.
