About the Role
Based in Lowestoft Riverside, 4 Canning Street, Lowestoft, Suffolk, NR33 0EQ you will be working 37.5 hours a week on a six week rota basis with early shifts, late shifts and with some weekends included.
You will play a key role in providing high-quality cleaning services to ensure our clients environments are spotless, safe, and welcoming.
Responsibilities
- Live within a 10 minute commute to respond to alarms and incidents
- Clean restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met
- Report larger maintenance issues to supervisors or contractors
- Monitor building systems (heating, cooling, lighting) and ensure proper functioning
- Lock and unlock buildings, rooms, and facilities as scheduled
- Ensure entrances, exits, and emergency routes remain clear
Qualifications
- Great communication skills and experience in similar cleaning setting
- A team player providing an excellent service across the Vertas Group
- The ability to make the best decisions with Vertas in mind
- The ability to adapt and respond to change in a growing organisation
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Valid UK Driving Licence
- SIA License
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules
