Vertas is looking for a dedicated Cleaning Supervisor to join our Facilities Team.

About the Role

Based at Willoughby Primary, LE12 6SS, you will be working 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 16:00 to 18:00, 41 weeks per year.

You'll play a key role in maintaining high cleaning standards across the site while supporting and supervising the cleaning team to ensure excellent service delivery.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Supervising and supporting a team of cleaning colleagues
  • Allocating daily cleaning duties and monitoring standards
  • Cleaning toilets and washrooms
  • Wiping down tables and surfaces
  • General cleaning duties across classrooms and communal areas
  • Hoovering and mopping floors
  • Completing quality checks and maintaining cleaning records
  • Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained
  • Following health and safety procedures at all times

  • Previous cleaning experience is essential
  • Previous supervisory experience is desirable
