We are currently recruiting for an experienced Repairs Officer to join our client's Repairs and Maintenance Team on a 3-month rolling contract. This is a key role supporting the delivery of high-quality, compliant housing maintenance services.

As a Repairs Officer, you will play an integral part in the day-to-day operational management of repairs and maintenance services, working closely with contractors and internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Overseeing day-to-day repairs and maintenance operations
  • Managing contractors to ensure works are delivered efficiently and to a high standard
  • Ensuring compliance with all statutory and legal obligations as a social housing landlord
  • Driving a cost-effective and customer focused maintenance service
  • Supporting continuous service improvements across the housing portfolio
  • Travelling to sites as required
Requirements:
  • Technical qualification/accreditation enabling supervision of gas works (in line with The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998)
  • Strong experience in repairs and maintenance within a housing or property environment
  • Experience managing contractors and service delivery
  • Full UK driving licence (essential - site travel required)

This is a fully site based role – no remote working available. Opportunity for contract extension depending on performance and business needs.
