Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of Northamptonshire Children's Trust for an Administrator to provide essential support managing a high volume of statutory meeting records within Children's Services. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organized, detail-focused individual with strong listening and written skills to contribute to safeguarding processes in a flexible, mostly remote role.
About the role:
- You will play a key role in producing accurate, high‑quality minutes from recordings of statutory meetings such as Child Protection Conferences and reviews.
- With no requirement to travel between sites, your focus will be on efficiently listening to recordings and producing structured minutes using set templates.
- The role requires emotional resilience, as the content discussed within meetings can be sensitive in nature.
Key responsibilities:
- Listen to recorded statutory meetings
- Produce clear, accurate, and timely minutes using set templates
- Record key decisions, actions, and outcomes in line with safeguarding protocols
- Ensure documentation is completed to a high standard and submitted within deadlines
- Upload and manage records within internal systems (Liquidlogic)
- Work collaboratively with the wider minute-taking team and attend regular virtual catch‑ups
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
What we're looking for:
- Strong minute‑taking or transcription experience
- Excellent listening skills and attention to detail
- Ability to produce clear, well‑structured written documents
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Competent IT skills
- Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
