Opus People Solutions are recruiting for experienced Multi Trade Operatives on behalf of North Northamptonshire Council to support with social housing maintenance and repairs on occupied and void properties in Northamptonshire. You'll be working for a highly respected local authority carrying out a wide range of repairs and maintenance tasks. Key Requirements & Experience
- Strong multiskilled capability across a range of trade tasks: Carpentry, Plumbing, Tiling, Plastering, Bricklaying, Fencing, Flooring, Groundworks
- Essential experience working in occupied social housing (3 years preferred)
- Must be local to the area - company vehicle is provided strictly for work use (vehicles are tracked for lone working/H&S purposes as well as to prevent misuse of company property)
Workload & Environment
- Reactive responsive service: Standard repairs turnaround: 30 days; Emergency callouts: 24 hours
- High-volume environment: Over 8,000 property and garage stock
- Approx. 1,500 reactive repairs per month
- 20,000 repairs completed last year
