Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team at Pakefield High School, Lowestoft. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in an educational setting to ensure a suitable working environment for students. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction. This role is suitable for anyone wanting part time (term time hours).
Main responsibilities
- Ensure all surfaces are cleaned and sanitised to the highest standards.
- Manage/remove waste disposal and recycling efforts effectively.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any shortages or malfunctions.
- Communicate with clients and team members to address specific cleaning needs or concerns.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
- Clean classrooms, corridors and communal areas including kitchens and toilets.
