About the Role

Based around the Sudbury and Bury St Edmunds Region you will be working 20 hours a week with potential for overtime, 52 weeks per year. Flexibility will be required on times; some shifts will be AM and PM. You will play a key role in maintaining cleanliness to a high standard that meets our standards and delights our customers.

Your Responsibilities

  • Cleaning toilets and washrooms
  • Wiping down tables and surfaces
  • General cleaning duties across classrooms and communal areas
  • Hoovering and mopping floors
  • Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained

Who We’re Looking For

  • Previous cleaning experience desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Enhanced DBS check required – if you do not currently hold one, you must be willing to obtain it
  • Full Clean Driver’s Licence
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in a similar cleaning setting
  • A team player providing an excellent service across the Vertas Group
  • The ability to make the best decisions with Vertas in mind
  • The ability to adapt and respond to change in a growing organisation
